What all comes in a Pole Barn Kit?

Trusses, Perils (2x6), and Poles (6x6) or (8x8) come in a Pole Barn Kit.

Can I purchase items from the kits separately?

Yes. You can purchase trusses, perils, and poles separately.

What is the longest truss?

80 ft.

What is the shortest truss?

16 ft.

How will I receive my kit or materials?

Pole Barns Inc. offers delivery as well as pickup.

What size can I do for a lean to?

Lean to can go up to 12 ft - 30 ft.

What if I need a smaller size lean?

We can get smaller sizes and odd sizes but it will be special ordered.

Do I use 6x6 or 8x8 poles?

Anything over 40ft needs an 8x8 pole.

Can I add to the barn later?

As long as there is enough space to build, you can add to the barn at a later date. It is recommended that you consider this at the beginning of the project.

How wide can I go with my posts?

The engineer drawings call for 10ft. on center but there are stipulations on making the posts 12ft. on center. Ask us how.

What is the pitch on trusses?

The pitch on trusses is 4 on 12. Steeper pitches are available but need to be specially ordered.

Can I have a bigger sidewalk?

If you need a bigger sidewalk, we sell headers that are 20ft. and 24ft. This will remove a post.
